On March 3^rd, 2012 members of the Dune Sea Garrison participated in the Love Walk at the Phoenix Zoo.  The purpose of the event was to raise awareness and funds to support the Phoenix Dream Center, Hand of Hope World Missions, and the Chaplaincy for the Homeless.  These organizations provide a safe haven for the impoverished and homeless to receive housing, food, and clothing.

This is the Second Annual Love Walk but the first year that the Dune Sea Garrison has participated.  Members of the DSG took pictures with the event participants and provided encouragement along the 1.5 mile route.  The event raised $3,460 for these organizations.
